It believe it says that Toyota makes a cost efficient, reliable and easy to repair truck.

At least the 1st gens. It seems that most of the rigs I see are not 2nd gens.

    Nothing more, nothing less...

I'm watching the news and I think you're right.

I did a google on them (Hilux) and they look the same.

I had seen Hilux mentioned on the threads, but didn't know exactly what they were.

I am a relative newb to Toyota trucks. I bought my first 3 months ago.

    Good catch... ;)

They are mostly Hilux and I've noticed some Nissan Frontiers too.

Just tell them people that the few ford/dodge/chevies didnt hold up to the heat and the desert.
Get further under their skin by telling them that the rebels are complaining about 20 cents a liter, aka 80 cents a gallon for gas. (im making it up, but the liter to gallon conversion adds credibility).:D

PS Do they have 2,3,4,or 5 leafs in the rear?

I was watching the news tonight and they were showing clips of the rebels in retreat. They had one of the new tundras, which are only built in texas. Wonder how that got there
