She didn't get sick but she wasn't happy that I "wasted a day she could have spent at the beach".

 

Good news is that beach isn't going anywhere...

I lucked out in the Mid Southeast of Pa Nada.

Though I am back to the mud bog I needed to Shift to 4x4 to get out going backwards ruts must be at least 8" deep.

 

Did a little hack fab work yesterday to make some offset plates for some cable tray. Probably a little unnecessary, but they came out ok for using a portaband and a grinder.

Those "unnecessary" extras fall under the category of Taking Pride in Your Work, when you walk away you know you did it right.

I have seen many jobs where the different height trays just float next to each other with no plates.

 

From the "I can't really cook but I try" department:

I made the homemade tomato soup tonight, did just a few tweaks to the recipe -- pretty dog-gone good! I impressed myself.

 

Tater soup next?

 

With Grilled cheese?

 

I have made a beef & potato soup in the past - kinda getting a hankerin' for it lately.

 

That was the last time -- we had some pasta with garlic & cheddar biscuits tonight.

 

Sounds good! I had cornbread and milk.

 

Picked up a new commuter car a couple of weeks ago. Needs some bossy work done so I ordered a new bumper for it last week. Showed up today. Thankfully with a little heat from the heat gun it straightened right back out with no creases.

Same can’t be said for the quarter panel.
