I really did think I was going to hate it.....and was fully prepared to do so.....and our first long distance trip we lost cell reception on several occasions, but never actually lost the route in the head unit (as long as you don't stop the route while you are out of cell reception).

It's nice, as there are always current traffic updates, current speed traps (some actually exactly where GMs said they were) and there is no need to update any of the maps as they are always current, each time you start out.
Give it a shot and see what you think.

Got out to do what I hear a lot of people refer to as fishing. Came up a bit short of the final part of actually catching anything.

May have got skunked, but I did get out.

I read about the moisture issues so I ran a bead of silicone around the edges. I live in the PNW so plenty of rain, we’ll see how things go. The wife really likes them as do I.

The butt dyno says yes. It definitely improved mid range throttle response. So getting onto the freeway is much better. I've done no calcs on fuel economy. I give zero F's right now.

Thank you. Yeah, I have a habit of dining on my boots. Living in CA can make you a bit vocal about "stuff". I'm gonna tread a bit more lightly.

If my truck has 14k miles and drives straight as an arrow after the new wheels/tires were installed, should I get an alignment to be safe (since I have upsized wheels/tires), or send it? Went from 245/75/16 stock steelies to 265/70/17 17x8.5"+0 wheels, so quite a difference. The guy at the tire shop said he wouldn't get an alignment if it drives straight. I've heard if you upgrade wheels and tire sizes, you should, to get the best wear out of your tires. What should I do guys/gals?
