20% more torque that comes on 2500rpm sooner.

it’s going to be way better than the minivan engine in your shitbox

I think it's clear that it should perform better than the V6.

To quote the Canadian, math is hard.

This would be perfectly fine for my dogmobile. My loaded OR is complete overkill for what I need now.

    Beau is easy to satisfy.

My main requirement is a double cab and good air conditioning. My dog could care less about ApplePlay.

Now you guys want the big screen? When it was first introduced some here had flames coming out of their eyes it was so blasphemous.

I didn't mean you specifically but to me the larger screens are to pull in the younger demo. 30-40 year olds. I prefer the Land Cruiser dash myself.

I apologize, I just dont get it. So many peope bitch about texting/distracted driving yet its perfectly fine to have what is basically a tv on the dash. But to clarify, I'm not anti-tech at all, I just dont understand the lust for the big screen.

I get that. It doesn't matter to me as I prefer the LC dash. BUt some were basically leaving Toyota all together then dealing with a screen that big in a vehicle they weren't buying. Just some weird folk here. And God forbid there's a removable Bluetooth radio. It was the end of the world on that one...lol

Not crazy about that either. :anonymous: It (seems) to me as tho it may eventually rattle in the dash. :notsure:
And (not that it matters to anyone but me) Toyota still offers trucks without the big screen, so they haven't ran me off entirely. I've driven Toyotas for almost 40 years , it wouldn't hurt to test drive something different when my time comes to vehicle shop.

I'm in year 28 of Toyota truck and car ownership. Time flies and I like their changes.

I wonder how accurate videos like this (there are many) are.

Interestingly, the bigger screen shows the exact same content as the smaller screens, just scaled up, bigger text, bigger icons. The Throttle House review joked it was like a screen designed for old people

My 2010 4Runner doesn't have a screen, but the climate controls have hilariously large switchgear. The defroster button easily takes up 3 sq. in. of real estate.

I would much rather have a power sliding rear window as standard equipment rather than a gimmicky removable speaker in the dash

Ehh it's not a big deal. If that were an actual choice I'd take the slider. BUt I could always use a BT speaker.
