That's just it. Make it equitable at least and tell HD they're in trouble for passing the funny money.

 

Body shop called them to ask what's going on this AM and they said it was going in today for sure, so sorry for the delay my dog ate my homework, my grandma died, the alignment tech had a flat tire, the coffee got switched with decaf, etc.

No truck.

Sigh.

 

We really need a dislike button....

 

Perhaps a group meetup at the body shop to find out what's holding up progress..

Saw this in the Delaware thread, probably won't have the technical wheeling we're used to in PA/MA/further north but could be a fun spot for a more mellow weekend

 

It ain't the body shop, their work is all done. It's been sitting at whoever they subbed to for the alignment for a week. They (the alignment shop) swore yesterday it was going to be done yesterday, and yet...

I'm going to call my guy this morning and ask him WTF. If it's not ready for pickup today I'm going to go get it from wherever the hell it's sitting and take it in to the place I normally go - they have a tech who deals with race and offroad vehicles and he always dials it exactly how I ask without any BS.

 

It’s so annoying how you have to harass people to get anything done lately. What happened to paying someone to do something and they actually do it?

Well the alignment is done (surprising me greatly), but my guy noticed on the drive back that the tire is fucked - they think a belt snapped internally cause it looks fine externally - and of course there are none anywhere to be had in stock, and the soonest anyone can get one is Friday.

I guess the takeaway is that the Blizzak DMV2 has plenty strong sidewalls.

I'd imagine that survey would be fairly informative for future business. As would the number of reviews...

Scumbags... Letting people who clearly don't know what they're doing behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle is basically playing Russian Roulette with all the people on the road. We have enough dipshits behind the wheel who did pass their tests...

 

As well as enough officers who don't enforce the law to stop such shit

 

Hey everyone, long time since ive been on here. Hope everyone is doing well. I still have my truck but sad to say for not much longer. Im selling it in the next week or two. I think its time to part ways especially after I threw the towel in on trying to get the frame recall @jpereira2 . @mach1man001 it will be 7yrs in July when we put the lift in.

Most likely will be bringing it to the auction in the next week or two unless anyone might be interested. PM me if so but like I said, frame recall should have been done on this.

Thinking I will get another one. This one lasted me for a good 9 years. If anyone has a lead on a nice 3rd gen TRD offroad let me know
