Looks like the same motor: 2,500-6,800 OPM

I could be wrong, just was pointing out where you can pick one up locally, although I see better prices online as you pointed out.

Thanks for the help and info man! And thanks to rb11701 and 95SLE as well! I'm planning on ordering the Porter Cable polisher and the correct polishes soon. I'm just a bit nervous about doing it myself again because of what happened already. I know everything will be fine once I have the correct equipment and products though. I'm really looking forward to learning more about detailing and keeping my new ride perfect!

Thanks again everyone for your help :)

A lot of guys that are just starting out will pick up a body panel from a junk yard, for about $10, and practise on the panel. You should also try to mess up the paint on the body panel to see if you can.

I have a white 07 Dodge Charger. I have road tar on the bottom rockers, I have tried everything from wax to mineral spirits to get this tar off. Any ideas, Besides the obvious as to not have a white Charger?

Gunk tar and bug remover might work.

Be sure to rinse off the area once you have removed the tar and put a coat of wax on.

I have always used a clay bar with decent results.

I guess I will give it a try this weekend. I was thinking of just having a body shop strip the bottom half of car and paint it a light silver.

its worth the try, I did it exactly for that on my father's Porsche, it removed it easier than I though. Hope you have the same luck.

Get the kit that comes with two clay bars, you'll need them.

Alos cut the bar into thirds and use one third at a time. If you drop the claybar on the floor toss it away. It picked up sand off the floor and will scratch your paint.

Seriously, the only way you can screw your paint up with the PC is by dropping it on the paInt. It has a built in clutch to stop you from burning the paint. Work slow. Remember, do not proceed until you can achieve your desired results in a 12x12 area. If you need a hand picking out gear, PM me I will help you out.

Hey man, my alloy wheels look like they have brake dust over them. I took some wheel cleaner to them but it stayed there.

    Any tips?

What did you use to clean them with and are the wheels clear coated?

I would use a claybar after the wheel cleaner.

Post up pics of one of the wheels.
