I used to watch the Super Bowl every year... but haven't the last couple. There's just too d**n much football in between the commercials.

I've looked at wiring harness kits and never found any real advantage to them. Expensive... and they never have wire that is the same colors/patterns as the original. So I've always just bought spools of generic wire. At least I can get the colors right. But I'd like to find a source for wire with stripes so I could match harnesses exactly. One of those things that I've never found and have always wondered why they aren't available.

I looked up that car, it's as rare as a queer tomcat. They said it was more expensive than a Corvette at the time. Your doing a great job.

We had the serial #1 car for decades.
We finally sold it couple of years ago. Trying to reduce our inventory. They restored it when they got it and Bob and I campaigned it back on the track for sometime. Drew huge crowds around it as we talked about the history.

A family/friendship with no names. I admire your tight lipped loyalties to them. Way too many people use name dropping to cultivate their own importance.

I thought it might be a consortium of partners with an organizational name. Maybe associated with a museum. In any case, a nice way to spend a retirement. Tinkering while someone else pays for the expenses. Life is good...

It’s stuff like this that keeps us going.

Wife: if you’re going into kitchen would you grab me a soda?
Me: Sure. You want that in a glass?
Wife: if it’s not a problem.
    Me: no problem at all

    Evening all:

Was just reading an interesting article about Michael Andretti and Cadillac trying to form a F1 team, it sounded like the "BIG BOYS" of F1 do not want them for various reasons!
Not exactly a fan of the Andretti's, but they are from Nazareth Pa. which isn't too far from me, looks like their name doesn't have as much clout in the F1 community like it does on the Indy racing circuit.
