The difference to my ears is the noise. If I crack a rear window and someone is in my truck with my, like my kid in the back seat, conversations are difficult. If I crack the slider, it is almost silent. Probably less airflow as well, but the noise difference is substantial.

I have a security bar in my sliding window :notsure: Rather have a solid one-piece with defroster grid.

I wonder if you can connect the speaker to your phone or TV.

It’s the last day of January and still no Tacomas on the road. What gives?

I have rarely used the "moon" roof on any vehicle I have owned. Just because they all sell by the end of the year (to buyers who suck it up to get the color, options, and availability they want), it is not justification to continuing to spec them that way. Toyota Management: "We sold 75,000 moonroofs last year, let build the same number for next year".

Interesting that the Phone Cables, Tailgate Insert, Badge Overlays, Edge Guards, and Bed Mat are manufacturer options. Usually the distributors/dealers install those. If a dealer adds phone cables and a mat, those are easy to take off and get credit for them - at the dealer level. When they come from the factory, you'll be stuck with them.

    That’s what I want :pout:

the tiny sliding window on the 24 leaves a lot to be desired…

Might be able to buy a tundra for the same price as the Tacoma I want. Though, no off roading around here, mid east coast, if that’s the case. AOAA is a little tight for a tundra.

I wish the window didn’t open at all. I don’t think I have ever opened the sliding glass on any truck. Ever lol

I have the truck for truck things, work and the occasional off road adventure, lately only at target though. No towing. I might also consider a T4R and a trailer for when I need truck things done.

I enjoy the sliding windows and moon roofs. Besides when the occasional wasp or hornet flies in :annoyed:

Haha I can see how it’s a benefit when a pest flies in. :)

Out of all of the people on Tacoma World how does no one have a 24 yet? Are these trucks actually available to purchase or is there some stop sale issue going on?

A roll down rear window would probably have a trade off of creating less space in the cab, it's already a tight space as is.

I just want the window to be big enough to climb through because I’ve locked my keys in my first gen a few times and that’s the only way in
