My boss does this all the time because his phone is possessed, Siri just hears random shit and interprets it as "call x"

 

Don't know the proper diacritic or whatever for it but the 'o' being used like the word 'smoke'

Have you been on an 787 yet? It was by far the quietest plane I've been on. Watching the wings flex under load and the auto dimming windows was great.

Im always pretty well self-medicated for those cross Atlantic flights. It's staved off jet lag especially on the return trip.

I know right, it's even rubbing off on me whenever I see one on the road now I'm like "oh there goes a clean one, I bet @Ozark_RegCab would.....goddamnit"

 

That is battle no one wins, except maybe the random person you have to pay out in a lawsuit for having run naked through their house at 2am

 

One of my best friends in grade school had parents that took that shit and then always ended up in weird situations. His mom totalled their escalade by driving it into a bridge pillar on ambien.

 

Only time I took it was flying back to the states

We were forced to get off the plane (I had planned to stay on and pass out) when we were in Germany

Well I had taken an ambien in anticipation of the flight back

Fuuuuck I barely remember my buddies guiding me as we walked out, yet I don't ever remember when I made it back on

And apparently I had bought a few bottles of liqour at the airport too cause I had them in a pack in my carry-on; imagine a drugged up marine with a rifle and handgun and bottles of booze in a backpack unboarding a plane stateside

 

Yeah I've heard a lot of stories about people getting in big trouble taking ambien and then either realizing they needed to drive somewhere, or woke up on it in a drug induced daze and getting behind the wheel. Shits scary

 

I wish I had been presented with science this way as a kid.

 

Dude that stuff is so strong; I was at my peak health wise and it still knocked me completely off my ass

Had only intended to pass out during the flight and it was successful for sure

Fortunately it only felt like coming out of a buzz when we landed, more or less

I just remember fighting and losing (while unboarding) and that sucked

 

The bleed air system is electric on them too, which is cool. You don’t get that dirty socks smell in the cabin like on other jets, which is actually a really strong neurotoxin.

Isn't that how they normally arrive stateside?

I take my socks off the ensure the other passengers are deprived from that dirty sock smell.

 

Has anyone seen Society if the Snow on Netflix about the rugby team that crashed in the Andes? It blows my mind they were able to survive up there for 2 months.

 

Yeah I watched it a couple weeks ago, it was really good. They filmed most of it out here in the Sierra Nevada
