There are people who will pay. There are others who will not. They won’t sell a limited Tacoma for that price here. It will sit on the lot and depreciate just like the Tundras are doing.

The pro is going to be expensive without mark ups. Don’t see how they can expect to sell them with a 10k mark up pushing them close to 80k.

I agree with you, but we aren’t going to see any dealerships selling Tacoma’s near $80k….TRD Pro or not.

Agreed. I figure we will be looking somewhere between 60-66ish thousand before TT&L. Which is still absurd.

OKlahoma city Toyota Dealer I found a 2024 TRD off road 4x4 FOR advertised price of $48,211 ..you can get a $500 off coupon with that dealer too. There are three Oklahoma City Toyota dealerships so you can compare. I am going to be driving my 2016 Tacoma limited for a long time but still I wasnt too shocked by the increase. My truck was new sticker price at $41K -ish and is 4x4 included the bed cover and side step bars.

Something tells me you're not exactly comparing apples to apples. A limited is 55k vs yours at 41 a 34% increase.

Not a GM fan I take it? I had a new style Frontier for about six months and came back to a Tacoma.

I hope they built a lot of margin into the high MSRP prices.

I was offered $10k off 2024 Tundra Capstones from a southern Oregon dealer. $7k off Platinums. $5k off Limiteds.

Edit: The dealer in his video is Wilsonville and they like their 1 price only junk. Bummer as they are just dont the road from me, but they dont have the best prices in the state.

This might be why Wilsonville has 25 new Tundras on their lot.

Yes, and they are one of the bigger dealers in the state as well. Beaverton is just up the road and they have a ton. Damian out in McMinnville has a lot as well. Heck, most of the dealers around here have quite a few sitting these days.

Video is a month old, now what would be interesting is another one showing double the inventory stacking up. Unfortunately the same can't be said for midsize trucks except for Nissan.

My local dealer in Reno, NV has 42 Tundra's sitting on the lot. Many of the lower end models are discounted. The tides are turning.

There is a YouTube video of a guy showing a silver one on the lot, ridiculous price though.

Very trim dependent, at least when it comes to tacos. Here in the Phoenix area essentially zero 2023 4x4 TRD ORs still on dealer lots and even lightly used ones sell extremely fast judging by how fast they come and go on autotrader.

A lot more 23s on the lots if you look at lower trims, especially SR5.

Couldn’t imagine the Pro price. Unlike the gen3 Tacos in the gen4 the pro is the only one that looks good to me. Same with the new Ford Ranger the Raptor is the only one that looks good to me. Pulled the trigger on a Raptor at msrp, can’t imagine the Pro being south of 65k.
