Thanks! I've actually already ordered the brake lines tabs he has on the upper link, but wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I was missing. Good video.

Leaf pins are ok, Seems that I have a warped brake drum, really bad spot that you cant turn by hand, once the drum is off it is super easy by hand to spin the axle/drive train. I backed off the shoe adjustment where there was no rubbing and took it for a drive. yes I need an alignment, badly, but its not nearly as bad above 50mph, but still have some issues to find , rather fix.

Also me but times two. I don't learn. "I can make this work! Tune, tune, tune!".

I did not make it work.

Are the leafspring bushing sleeves installed? ....Just trying to help check off the list of things to inspect and check off.

yes I assume so, JD fab did the install in Apr last year. all associated bolts are tight. I guess I need to drop the leafs out to verify.

Yeah I'm at KOH, so I won't be back till next week! Also you shipped them to Blaine, so I still have to get them imported to Canada and pay duties etc. stoked though! Glad they have drain holes already, cuz I was going to add some if they didn't.

@Airdog when are we meeting up? We just got here yesterday

JD fab makes a full rear Sua kit, but doesn't include shocks or bed cage.

That's just one of those things that needs to be done to check items off of the list. Check the integrity of the leaf spring bushings and sleeves. Might as will check the condition of the rear shackles and the upper unibals.. if you remove the leaf springs for inspection.

I might be wrong. But is that not a rust ring from where the centering pin used to sit?

Seems to be and is are two totally different things…. It sure looks to me as though that pin moved. No other reason that ring should be there.

So hammer that pin as close to center of that slot and re-assemble?

I would 100% be removing and replacing the pin. They are like 3$ a piece.

Unfortunately the cage isn’t done to the point that I can bring it up there. Especially with the mudfest that it will be turning into. There are still 3 big holes in the rear floor of my truck that need to be closed out. And the bed cage tie in also. Sadly I underestimated the amount of time and work a cage is.

    same.

respecting the skill to get everything as tight as possible on the first try, and then assemble in a way that doesn't require massive patching to finish weld everything
