I had an OV tune and Regeared before the S/C and really thought that was a great combo. Truck got heavier got the blower but really liked how it drove at that point before that with the tune and regear.

It won't fit with the supercharger under the hood, which was the consensus and not worth the time to try and make it fit. You would need to change belts and other things. alignment would be off.

lol what happened with yours? I liked the OV tune on mine but I did upgrade my ECU before reverting it so it ended up as a big paperweight. that part I'm not too happy about.

Thanks for your input, I didn't consider some of the points you brought up. Porting and polishing the upper im and tb just jumped to a high priority item instead

I see my tensioner is fine and Im going to just swap the pulley first since it will be the easier of the 2 to get to see if that's my noise confirmed.
I saw on the 1st page the gates on, is there one that would be similar I could get from an auto parts store?

I'm happy I went with hptuners as it offers this shift on the fly for 6.0psd and possibly 7.3psd. I wonder if the Tacoma could offer that? I would assume it dependent on the memory space on the ECU.

I thought about that but with the ultra gauge, BT module i have and HP tuner that the OVT is old news.

nice i tried something like that but they noted since I flashed the ecu to the TRD tune there was no way to release the OVT back so basically its useless but for what @SUMOTNK noted as a reader.

PXL_20240131_195743689.MP~2.jpgSo I hear the noise coming from this bolt so I assume the pulley it's holding in?
What is that pulley the idler #1?

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Page 1 has the belt and pulley diagrams for factory layout and S/C layout. Looks like Idler 2 but my perspective may be off.

I be inclined to think it is the nose drive seal. I would refrain from driving it, until you get a look at it. If anything check underneath and could drain and fill more supercharger fluid.

Or just take the blower belt off instead of refraining from driving altogether?
