Well I traded a couple AK's for an equipment trailer...
Haven't built any new ones in a while.

What mag is that? Interesting. With the ASR mount on there, do you suppress it, and how is that working?

This Saiga is the .223 model and the previous owner had fitted some 35rnd Galil Magazines and 1/2x28 threads. Put the ASR on but haven't used my can with it yet, mainly for looks at the moment until I get a different end cap for my Wolverine.

I have a 20" barreled Saiga .223 that I have debated chopping, threading, and combo block, turning it into a 102 type, but I don't want to spend the cheddar, lol.

Look at the AC Unity .223 AK mags, particularly their AK-19 mag, pretty decent mags for the cost.

I saw those and like the window and metal latch for that price! I have a bunch of the translucent green FB Radom polymers, but will probably get the clear WBP ones next.
Dude you totally should! I was drooling over one at the gun shop on Sunday in 5.45x39

True. I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks. AK’s are new to me. This is one of those deals a guy I work with his Son wants to sell it for a good price basically just what he paid for it. Rifle, 3 mags, sling, case, and 250 rounds. He’s dicking around some though idk if he wants it or wants me to pay more but dragging his feet.

Isn’t there some ATF rule about swapping furniture on them?

No idea. As far as I understand the furniture change was only for importation after that you could change. I may not though

I’d think if you removed Chinese parts and installed furniture made here it wouldn’t be an issue
