Newer and newer AAA games are just so hard to run

This still netted shy of 100fps (80-110 give or take) playing Forza 5 on ultra settings at 4k; would pull 140-150fps at 1440p as I play that regularly

Some games I play at 4k, and others at 1440p

Cyberpunk is supposed to be the modern Crysis, as in it takes good components to run at a decent rate

Heck, even DDR5 nets you a few more fps versus really fast DDR4

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's a good thing I'm too busy to really play video games anymore, casual older games is about all I have any time for anymore. Building computers to keep up with modern games at high resolutions just seems like such a pointless endeavor anymore and way too expensive. It's one of the few hobbies that was cheaper in smaller quantities before it went mainstream and everyone has a rainbow puke box on their desk now that costs a few grand to play a $60 game that gets replaced in the next release cycle anyway.

Still is like that; 1080p is still the most popular format today and guys are still running their GTX series cards

It's nuts spending $1k or more for a gpu, and cpus nowadays are so powerful you don't even need to overclock them

That RTX you buy though, would last you some years (even on the newest games) if you never go more than 1440p

Speaking of money in pc's, far cheaper than dropping $76k, expensive suspension parts, and nothing more to show for it other than a stripped down truck you dropped off
