I've never even passed through KY, so yeah I'd need to be in the $175k+ range to live there lol

I wouldn't say live... I'd rent an apt or a room to work for a couple years but always be travelling elsewhere and investing all off that money not wasted in a house to finance a life later on in better state

I've been all over and don't know how people can afford to live on the westcoast without making $250k+

I don't know how east coast wheelers even get the urge to start the hobby TBH, there's like nothing over there except little private parks full of mud and stumps.

Don't be a Nick; we all beat him up with real statistics about cost of living, poverty levels per capita, etc in different areas when he mentioned how his "mom lives in XXX state/city" :luvya:

Basically proving it can be as expensive if not more (due to wages, unemployment, etc) living outside of CA

we have family in Brooklyn, I know how expensive it can get in other areas, I also know it can be pretty cheap in certain areas on the west coast.

I'm not sure if I have a counter argument lol

Oof, that fraud case...apparently he had pending cases against him already

And seems the OP already knew

God damn dude, I write people off just by how they think sometimes; to look up a business and find all this shit going on and still fork over 76k+ is nuts

Lots of places can be affordable (not even cheap) as it would correlate with wages in that particular area

I've known people that lived in Gilroy or Morgan Hill, and landed significantly better paying jobs in the Bay Area (and moving out there)

Sure, cost of living was much higher, but so were their wages to make up for it

I have a couple friends who have moved out to bay area and I think they are delusional with the lifestyle they are trying to live with the money they are making.

basically boils down to they can't afford the lifestyle that made them want to live there in the first place
