There is a cool little hike in Turkey creek to do. And they can start hiking up the trail to meet us too. It will roughly take them 3 hours ish to get back into the campsite after they leave the trail head in the morning.

Hey, I'll be the automatic riding the middle because GA trails teach you how to get dirty and waterproof the air intake, not how to prevent rollovers on big rocks. :mudding:

This will definitely be the toughest trail I've gone on here in AZ, but I'm here to finally dent up the front bumper like I paid for lol. Hit pucker ridge when she was stock and a couple other camp spots have put some love on the underside, but I'm ready to have some real fun and learn a thing or two.

Hey I am running a auto too. I am done with the manual except on the bikes. It is going to be a real fun time. I cant wait to see how it has changed.

Prepping up my packing list so I can empty out the gear this weekend and get it all ready to roll.

Anyone gonna have onboard air or a handheld compressor that they're willing to let me run off of when we air up on the way out?

I've got a 4 hose and plenty of recovery gear / tool roll etc., but an ARB is still on the list and I'd rather not bring the pancake compressor if I can avoid it.

I have onboard air you're welcome to use. I'm sure some others will have air as well.

@KingOfTheNorth do you have locations of the Friday/Saturday camp spots and start of the trail to meet at? I want to put that stuff in the first post along with times.

Yeah I will have my compressor aswell you can use. I will probably be a bit over packed since the wife is coming and we will have 2 vehicles worth of room to use.

Friday night camp will be at or very near south river rd and copper creek trail rd. We will find a place to hunker down. There is a parking lot at the lions shooting range on copper creek trail with bathrooms and such.

Here is saturday night. 32°52'51.6"N 110°26'15.1"W From the back side you take klondyke rd back to aravapi rd into turkey creek.

Edit: It is showing it is temporary closed but I think that is the church that is. It is dispersed camping back there.

I have onboard air and a little one separate to haul for anyone to use. As well a few choice spare parts and tool kit. Ugga Jugga and a complete socket set that should do.

Oh that reminds me to go buy a full spare cv axle. I have one but it needs rebuilt and I dont want to bother. Rather just spend 100 bucks and be done.

We shouldn't need these items, but rather be safe. Its a long trip through some bigger bumps and happy we have a good group rolling out!

How difficult would you say it gets After Carpet hill? Looks like we tackle that down hill early.
Keep looking at the topo of that area and we go in and out of a few canyons! The rookie is already nervous
Watched a YT of a Jeep. Drove to Table Mountain Via Copper creek. Doesnt look bad, few rock gardens and tight trail..

After carpet hill its pretty easy going. some off camper spots, thin trails through trees (expect az pin strips) a couple small stair cases. I really dont remember much being difficult other than carpet hill (which is more just take slow and pick a good line) and the gate keeper at the top of the copper creek trail rd. Everything else is just a sunday afternoon drive very slow like. Disclaimer : That I can remember.
