I just completed rebuilding the front end of my Tacoma. I added rough country control arms and 2 inch level puck.
After everything was installed I quickly realized I have a serious case of taco lean. It is squatted… I’m assuming the shocks with the control arms with the puck added too much lift over the rear.

FYI THE FRONT IS 1 INCH TALLER THAN THE REAR

Anyways, what are some of your guys recommendations on lifting the rear of the truck. I would like to replace the bilstien in the rear with fox in the future also.

Get an add leaf and a 1 inch block for the rear. Orrrr you will need a new leaf pack from one, deaver....

Now I also don’t want to sacrifice ride quality. The front rides like butter, would like the rear to match it somewhat(I know it’s leafsprung and will never feel like coilovers) but would be nice to not have the ride get worse.

    All of them.
You added spacer lift ontop of lift coils?

    It won't ;)
I have been through 3 lifts. Tires matter more than the leaf pack. I am running a 33 E rated tire, which make the ride a little rough. It's a truck, not a BMW or tesla. some sacrifices need to be made.
Do you carry a lot of weight in the bed?

2 Inch level puck, on top of current bilstien 5100’s on the second .8” setting.

Only thing that should have been add was a 1/2 spacer on the driver side to fight the taco lean on the front. The rear is a different animal.

Should have put it on the first clip, not the second. I have had the same lift.... (minus the spacers in front). It's going be trail and error here. I hope you like wrenching.

Now would a AAL from like OME or another reputable brand lift the truck itself, or would the lift block give lift. I don’t want a lot of rake again, a level truck or a half inch would be good I think.

The aal will lift the rear half the way without the super stiff ride. The 1" block should level it out.

I honestly think the truck as of now rides really well on the second clip personally. Little stiff on road but feels good buzzing gravel roads.

I really liked my 5100's, felt very solid. I would never add a puck on top though. With stock springs, I never went more then the 3rd clip. The higher I got, the worse the ride was.

    I’ve had load C, D, and E

Rear ride is noticeably better after putting a leafpack.
It’s about the only way to get noticeable rear lift properly and load carrying ability.

Are you talking a whole leafpack? OEM or a OME or different brand leaf pack.

OEM is for stock grandma getting to the grocery store. It’s 3 or 4 leafs.

I have RXT bought used in op3.
Heard negative reviews on OME leafpack and good reviews on Deaver.
Used RXT was cheaper than new Deaver. And customizable. With good reviews.
