I bought this headunit about a year ago. I had it in my Subaru and then installed it in my tacoma after I got it. It just started displaying Error-01 when im using the iPod and the music stops playing. It also wont let me search through most of my songs on the iPod using the headunit. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks.

I just installed the same HU, I'm not running IPOD, but there is a small reset switch in the lower left corner when you remove the face plate, maybe try that?
I have the booklet at home, I will try to check the troubleshooting later today. It's also online somewhere, I'll try to find it.

could it be an ipod issue and not an alpine issue.

i dunno. i've got the same head unit, but have only had an ipod hooked up a coupole of times with no issues.
