Yes, however, other than the stickers, there's no piece of tech or gear on the new taco that isn't already in another vehicle somewhere else. The engines are already in the highlanders, some of the suspension is new to Toyota, but we never really have suspension issues. The sway bar disconnect is from the Land Cruiser, the full-time four-wheel drive and the limited is from the product, even the body moldings are scaled down tundra, body moldings. And all the electronic tailgate gimmicks are also from the high-end trim tundras.

I'm sure they'll be plenty of teething issues still, but most of the tech is not new per se.

 

even so if its old tech doesnt mean it wont have an issue... so dont blame him on not wanting to buy a first year model.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with that. My sixth or seventh and it's nice to know at least you were the one that ruined it. I admit, you gotta find a deal though.

my bike i bought used and trust me i get the point of buying used but as others have stated buying new you know who broke it and whats been done to it... my klx has been a bit of a pain with finding old issues and other problems ive had to fix. now would i do it differently no i wouldnt since its a rare 1 year only color so its cool at least to me.
