That is correct 315s. Definitely much bigger than 265s.

PXL_20231228_180652154.MP~2.jpg I just got 17x19-12 offset wheels but my truck is stock so I think imma get 265/65r17 wildpeaks.
My question is do 265s fit on 9 inch wheels and if so do they look good on the 9 inch wheel?

They will fit yes, they will look bulged out I would say. But they will fit. Have you though about getting a suspension set up? Well the question should be what are your plans for your truck? What do you plan to get out of it?

No plans of upgrading suspension anytime soon. kinda on a tight Budget. Plus I don't do much off-roading other than some light trails when fishing.
It's my daily driver about 40 miles round trip and id like to stay as close to mpg as I can "19 mpg" at the moment

For mileage putting big tires and wheels on isn't going to help. The best thing you can do is adjust your driving style, the second best thing you can do is get a tune. My mostly stock TRD off-road which has no drivetrain modifications and still running factory size Tires gets 25 miles per gallon in the summer on my commute.

Sounds like you gotta a goal and I wouldn't recommend modifications too much, I'd change Interior things to make it more comfortable like I put Stinger 10in display radio in make it more modern. As stated above 100% a tune should be on your list.

Believe it or not with my differential regear to 4.88s, tune, and Throttle adjuster, while on highway running with no additional weight in my current state without my full armor installed I sit around 17-18 mpg with 315s. All the small things play an affect.

That's pretty good given the parameters.

    Thanks for all the info.
For future reference any recommendations on tunes? Like I said not much off-roading "although I would like to get into a little bit" but mostly for mpg, throttle response and is there something for the gear searching problem?

OTT and KDMax all address the gear hunting and lackluster shift tables. They also address rev hang and throttle response.

Hard to tell a big difference between the two, honestly. Might just boil down to your location and where the nearest tuner is.

Luckily here in STL we have some of the best tune support in the country.

You want to regear when you upgrade to larger tires. For a better throttle response, I recommend Sprint Booster. For tunes, I'm not sure where you are located but, I would recommend speaking to a performance shop in your local area.

Individual guy, has tuned half the area lol. Toyota specific stuff. Plus there are shops like mine and a few others who aren't afraid of aftermarket stuff and know Toyotas ridiculously well.

Archive garage relocation mounts were installed today with King 2.5 x 12-inch shocks. I decided to opt out of the triple bypass shocks because I believe my build doesn't need them with my setup with the Four Wheel Camper. I have cradled the airbag system, and Low Range 4x4 is designing an airbag that I will be able to install a King 2.5 bump stop. I want the truck to handle the weight without limitation in travel or fear of blowing a bag. This Tacoma suspension has been pieced together slowly, but I think I will be one of the first outside tactical application vehicles that have operated a Four Wheel Camper with Long Travel.
