Too early to pull the trigger, but still checking periodically.

 

It's got the fog lights and cloth. If it has a key fob that will be the easiest tell. There's quite literally no availability in the SR to receive a signal from one.

And doable fly and drive. Even transport wouldn't be too bad. I got a car from Florida enclosed trailer for $800ish IIRC

 

Called the dealership and they're seeing a lot of Tundra trade-ins for the new gen.

 

Welp, I did a fucky wucky and rushed backing my trailer into my driveway to avoid getting hit on the road. Watched the oncoming car for a second too long and slid the tire of the trailer over the edge of the driveway. Uphill and solid ice plus 2wd. She's not going anywhere. Truck is still on the driveway solidly, but any movement makes that trailer slide farther.

Unhook for a couple of days.
It’s going to melt this week. Just hook back up and pull it out.

 

I love that idea! Sadly it's so low I can't get the crank wheel down to unhook it. I could floor Jack it, but doing that on an icy hill is not my idea of a fun time. Also can't pull the sleds off since they don't run and I can't get them back on. When I fuck things up, I make sure to do it just right

 

I'm confident you'll come up with a solution.

I'm envisioning high lift jacks and come alongs.

 

I've got a coworker coming by, going to use his truck as an anchor and come along the trailer back onto the driveway

 

Got it all sorted. Ended up having to take the sleds off since the come along was dragging my coworkers truck across the solid ice instead of moving the trailer. Tucked the sleds in the back of the driveway for now, might try and rig up some straps and ramps to get them back on at a later date.

 

Thursday morning hit my truck while I was driving to work. He decided he wanted to come into my lane and got my front and rear fenders.


the dent in the rear fender can be popped out. The front fender and bumper have to be replaced. The fender extensions also have to be replaced. He only got the fenders and not the doors. $5,000-$6,000 in damage and I haven’t even gotten it registered yet.

 

Oof, that sucks. Sorry to hear that but glad it wasn't worse.

 

The bad part is he said he saw me there. That didn’t stop him from trying to come over anyways.
