What's the craziest/most interesting/unique item you've ever hauled or towed with your Taco?

I picked up what I thought was the remainder of the stuff earlier today...

 

I scored an Amana freezer, an LG portable air-conditioner, portable gas water heater, and this heavy tank of unknown origin...

 

That’s a nice truck.
I always wanted a blue X-Runner.

If I hit the lottery, I would love to redo my truck as a regular cab X-Runner; I would buy a totaled X-Runner at an insurance auction and put the drivetrain, suspension, etc in my truck. I would then sell all the parts I don't need from both my truck and the donor truck and pocket the cash!

 

I like it! I dont think thats ever been done before and would love to see it. Iv seen plenty of people put the X-Runner body kit on a single cab truck but no one has ever done the full drivetrain swap. That would be rad

 

It's got a new frame paid for by Toyota, and a clean title. Really all I would have to do is swap the drivetrain, ECU, and suspension; I can drive stick, but I might make it a 5-speed automatic since my truck is already an automatic.

Does anybody have any idea what this mysterious cylindrical tank could be? It VERY heavy and obviously metal, but a magnet will not stick to it; I am going to be scrapping it in about an hour...

 

Water softener unit or a pressure pot for a well system?

 

I've never seen a water softener this heavy though!

 

I got $51 for the damn thing!

That wasn't iron; I stuck a magnet to it and it didn't stick...

I picked up my scrap heat pump today!

 

Don't those take a lot of work to separate all the metals out of.

 

I find it rather therapeutic to disembowel air-conditioners...

 

I scrapped the air-conditioners that I got from my friend Dave this morning; I got $73 for everything!
