Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
looks really nice, I have been looking at those for a while now but I might end up getting the smoked ones if I can ever afford it haha. Tell us how they work out for you

the hid kits just make the lights brighter and more blue as you go up. They come standard with 350k and they go up from there. Look online just type in 1000k hids or something like that

hid light color is measured on the kelvin scale. 3000k is yellow and then it moves to white at 4300k. after that it starts to get a shade of blue and becomes a real prominent blue at around 10k or 12 k. The best hid bulb temp (color) you can have as far as brightness goes is 4300k. it is the closest to direct sunlight and has the greatest output of lumens (actual brightness if you will). this link can explain it better than i can.

All being said, that should look very nice on your truck. I have that on the "to do when i have money" list.

You are confused. The K stands for the kelvin color scale. Standard headlights are 4300k.

Most factory HID's are 5000k. Most folks who buy aftermarket ones get 6000K, which are slightly blue. 8000k are honda civic style blue. 10000k are just ridiculously blue, and likely have less light output than stock headlights.

Also fyi, decent kits can be purchased on ebay for around 50 bucks. just make sure to get the right bulb type for the application. The headlights will need the bi xenon kid (dual filliments). i would go the extra mile and get the waterproof ballasts; preferably 50w as opposed to 35w. especially for off road lights :)
