Spot the “flaw”

Can you spot the “flaw”? It’s killing me.

What would you do?

Spend $400CAD for one more OEM headlight… or do what the previous owner did and paint the inside (I think?)
or is it a different?

Or do I buy 2 new aftermarket headlights?!

Also, looking for recommendations for aftermarket fog lights please!

I'd be more concerned about the unsuccessful attempt to obscure the license plate and it looks like one front tire is new and the other isn't. The headlights are fine. Aftermarket headlights are bad. Maybe upgrade the fogs, but probably wouldn't do that either.

 

I'd get two decent headlamps with projectors.

The pre-facelift headlights and taillights on tacoma 2nd gen are just awful.

Pick up an OEM sport headlight for the passenger side. Remove everything below the headlights and grill, pick up a C4 hybrid bumper, fill it with quality LEDs. Your welcome.

 

Thoughts on one new tire when the others are only 6-8 months old?
I didn’t do it. The shop that fixed the truck for an ICBC claim only put on one new one.
I’m debating weather to fight to get the other replaced also.

 

Ahh ok. Yeah the shop the did the fix for my ICBC claim apparently didn’t realize until I mentioned it when I picked up the truck. I thought the one was just painted inside or something. But thank you.

 

I thought it was the uneven hood gap over the grille corners... maybe it was in a wreck and that's why the lights don't match...

 

Definitely a bit of a gap on one side. It’s being addressed. And yes it was in an accident. The shop that fixed it apparently didn’t realize the different lights

 

Realistically, it's probably fine over time they just put on one new tire. If it was a Subaru or other vehicle with symmetrical AWD, it could be a problem. Slightly annoying though.

 

Well, this isn't a you problem, this is a shop problem. Tell them to get a matching new OEM headlight.

 

Fair enough. Kinda what I was thinking. Definitely annoying tho. Might ask ICBC about getting another idk.
