Vibration

Have a 2017 sport with a Eibach stage 2. Rear 1.5 blocks. I believe I need to shim the rear end. Suggestions? Do i get a angle meter?

 

^Angle meter and check the carrier bearing for play.

Are you getting vibration at speed or during takeoff?

 

Did you just have the lift installed or have you had it on there for a while? Are the blocks facing the right way?

 

Lifts been in for a while. The blocks looked flat to me. I get the vibration at highway speeds and also from around 20-0.

 

Has it always vibrated since the lift was on? Might be something else, wheel out of balance, carrier bearing going bad, rotors.

 

Just since the lift was installed. Recent needle bearing replaced with an alignment. Tires are new.

 

Carrier bearing?
Drive shaft u-joint?
Pinion angle?

 

I pushing towards pinion angle. The truck on had 24k on it. Where do I find what the pinion angle should be?
