There has been a contract tree service working on the electrical right of ways.

    After:
This is right across from the house, the brush was right up to the snow line, much nicer to mow & plow now.

Looking down the road, it is steeper than it looks here.

After all the replies, I think I’ll add a quick link to my safety chains to shorten them. Basically adding a loop with the quick link to shorten the chain, keeping the weak point in the quick link, and not cutting the chain.

I got some two stroke noise in today! Pretty awesome ride considering how little snow there is. IMG_6294.jpg IMG_6295.jpg

I’d love to ride one of those, never even seen one in person.

600cc, 120hp, when the trails set up good like they were this morning it’s almost like riding a sport atv that hooks up way better and turns on a dime. On the other hand, it was 10 degrees when I left the house this morning, drove an hour and a half up north to unload, and it wasn’t warmer there. If you can stand the cold for a day, I’d say do it. There’s nothing like riding a snowmobile.

Funny thing is, it got more than 2x the fuel mileage than the Tacoma. Sled gets 20-22mpg, taco gets 8-10mpg towing on the highway! :annoyed:

Sno-Jet, you bet!!! There’s a local radio personality named Drifty Twitchell who talks about his Sno-Jet from time to time. Classic Maine humor.

@six5crèéd the mill told me they would have to take about a half inch of thickness to get a twist out. They gave me a price break lol. Here is how I am approaching this build. Gaps have to be right!
