Yep that is a beautiful truck I remember I messaged you about that one. That tire size really fills out the wheel wells nicely with the 2/1 lift, and you've got the mudflaps still on. So, the MPG and power loss isn't that drastical? If not thats what I think I'm going to do. Now to just decide between bronze, black or the gunmetal wheel color. Im kind of leaning towards bronze or maybe even the gunmetal just to have more contrast between the wheel and the tire. BUT, I also really like the all black look, in fact I just put smoked FORM tailights on the truck and man what a difference in looks...

That's right, I forgot we traded messages a while back. Yep, mudflaps still on and my tires have never touched them. I lost close to 2 mpg but it was worth it to me. Bronze or Gunmetal would also look killer! Post some pics once you pull the trigger.

What size tires are those? 275's? They look great. How do you like the Ko2's? I'm in between those at the Toyo Open Country AT3's or the Open Country RT Trails.

I'm getting conflicting info on these 17x7 +4 offset wheels to go on my 2023 SR,

The dealer sites (BAM) and even the clone sites say they will fit 3rd Gen up to 2022 but, not 2023...

I've read that "some" 2023 rear axles are too deep for the standard depth SEMA wheels but, other 2023's fit fine. Hit or, miss or just retailers being overly cautious?

Get the real ones, not the replica’s. The part number PTR20-35110-BK is for the matte wheels, they are technically not for a Tacoma but fit fine. I just got a set of them from BAM and put them on my ‘23, they came in the TRD box with install instructions and everything. They came out perfect with 275’s on a 2” lift.

I'm looking at the gray ones,

I'll be doing a Eibach Stage2 lift/level and am deciding between 265/70/17 or, 255/75/17 tires on these wheels. Leaning towards the 255's but, there is a bigger selection of 265's.

Either of those would work. I was thinking of going 265/70/17, but I knew with the 2” lift and the wheel width and offset, I could go bigger. I knew I’d regret later not going bigger, so I went 275 Falken AT4’s. I’ve seen people but 285’s on these wheels with a 2” lift and a good alignment and be good, with mud flaps. I think the 255’s would look good, with more sidewall and a little taller.

Had SEMA's transferred over from my '17 OR to my '23 OR when I switched. Had no issues.

Well I dont want to say I copied you, but I decided to go with the blackout theme too. I went with the 275 Wildpeak At4's load range C. I just did the speedo calibration, and it seems my mpg only dropped 2 or so mpg, which is better than I was expecting. I was thinking that 8-9 lbs per tire was going to make a HUGE impact, when I've already raised the weight of the wheel/tire so much. Luckily I have the same result as you did, and it rides great. I did have a little rubbing on the passenger mud flap but I got the alignment adjusted and no more rubbing. I even ordered new UCA's thinking they wouldnt be able to get it aligned enough, but after they got it right I am going to return the UCA's, since I dont think it will really make any difference with this set up...

Quick question on these wheels, I have the Matte Black ones seen in the previous post. What products are you using on the wheel to clean and protect it? I noticed the tire shop sprayed a tire shine on my wheels and now I'm seeing spots on the wheels that I cant remove easily. If anyone has any recommendations for a good cleaner and sealant or something to protect the finish please do share..

You get a good price? I’ve been stalking the interwebs and so far best I’ve found is Toyota of south Atlanta for $770.
