Not trying to be a total insurance nerd here, but I would assume gap insurance is a thing for high value autos, right? Like pretty much a requirement unless your paying cash for something like that?

 

On something like that 918 it's actually the opposite. That car is worth maybe twice the original price. More likely you're on the phone to an attorney specializing in diminished value claims.
