No but I watched Ian Johnson do it on his motor before the motor swap and looks very similar to doing it on the 5VZ and 3VZ motors

Like Jack said, up to I think 2010 had 4.0, 4.7, and 5.7 options. Then just the 4.6 and 5.7 and the last couple years was only the 5.7

They are pretty easy. I recommend a Aisin kit.

Is anyone here going to the event on Feb 10th in Ossipee NH? I've never been to the park before, but have heard good things so figured this event is a good time to go and meet some people.

Trailer complete. Might add a couple more welds but both atvs will fit now. Need to add another tie down point at front and grease wheel bearings before she sees the highway.

It's always good to have friends with a boat, but it's terrible being the one who owns the boat.

Remember the 3 F's of renting. If it flies, floats, or screws, it's cheaper to rent than buy.

So the update on the RAV4 is that there is no update. It was towed to the dealer (which I won't name) late Friday afternoon. The service writer called me and asked some questions. I gave him all of the information he needed and he said that they'd look at it Saturday morning. Somehow, it never got logged into the system and so it sat until this afternoon when I finally ended up calling the Service Director and asking WTF was going on. I asked very nicely, but that's still what I asked. Ten minutes later the service writer called and asked my what color the RAV4 was and if I had the plate number. He found it and told me that no one had looked at it because it wasn't logged in for service.

At that point he offered us a free rental car, which I accepted. We drove out there and he arranged the car for us. He told us that they'd look at it tomorrow as it was already about 5:30. I had printed out the service alerts and gave him that to him. He promised to call me as soon as someone looked at it tomorrow. I don't know what the Service Director said to him, but he was very apologetic.

I did explain to him and the Service Director separately that we're new in the area and looking for a dealership with a good service department. This one was recommended to me by several Tacoma owners in the area, which is why I picked them.

We'll see how this works out.

No special tools are needed except a 10mm Allen for the tensioner pulley.

So nice I’d be afraid to wheel or work it…he’ll, I’d be afraid to drive it down a dirt road. Very cool truck though.
