    That sucks!

At least TV's have gotten cheaper. It sucks to be forced to buy one on short notice, but at least you'll probably end up with a better picture.

Looking at that Apple Valley Farms site it looks like sliders might be extremely helpful on their trails......
Hey @Shellshock, what's the ETA on those Mobtowns looking like?.....

Next time try a metal deadblow hammer and a large pry bar. Use the pry bar for vertical tension then hit side of the knuckle where the tie rod goes in. I've always had tie rods pop after 4-5 hits with the hammer. You can also thread the castle nut on backwards to protect the threads and hit the hell out of it with a small sledge

Next week. I’ll get you added to a convo with the deliverer. Just talked to him yesterday to make sure he was still planning on heading up there.

Dont forget they will need some freshening up on the paint. Theres a bit of surface rust (basically on the front side where stuff would kick up off the road). I’m gonna try to hit that with the wire wheel / grinder this week and clean up those little spots since it’s 50 degrees here so they are pretty much ready to paint / touch up for you.

I would definitely do steel it or por15.. we just used rustoleum the first time and didn’t hold up as well as we expected it to.

So much nicer than trying to arrange clamps and knocking them off while you're trying to fuss with a rod end. Bolt them on and forget it until you're done working on the truck. Also nice for getting the steering wheel straight since you could sight in straight pretty well just off the plates too.

Excellent. That should work out perfect.
You don't need to get too carried away with cleaning them up, though I won't stop you.
If time is tight I might just put them on as is, to go to the AVF Park, 2/17 and clean them up this summer...I have to finish cleaning up the stock leaf springs anyhow.

So @pearing, If I get those sliders on by the 17th, I'll come out and play.

Didn't I see a note about this could be a possible winter run for the group?? Did I imagine that?

I said maybe we should have made it the winter run. I am too busy to join on anything this month. Anyone is welcome to have a group outing if they want, though. Last year there was a Tigerton trip that I didn't even know about until people posted pictures.

Winter run? There’s not even any snow left. I think we had about a weeks opportunity for that unless we get a spring blizzard again
