Yes, It's the ZX4RR. It hasn't even been out for a year yet. It's my first street bike and I love it. I've been riding dirt bikes since 1975.

just a couple of things tbh
nice i was looking at it but cant personally justify its 9k something for it cool bike thou

not really no just how missouri does it out here if you are over 18 and have a permit you have all permissions of a true license minus i have to renew ever like 6 months for 4 bucks. it was and is still cheaper then paying 200 something for the class and at the time i didnt have the cash for it so i just ignored it.

i talked about it awhile back i think you were part of that discussion months ago lol

Do they require that now in AL? I've had mine since I was 14......and back then it was just a written test

They don’t require a MSF course here, just the M endorsement on your license. I used to have it years ago, then moved to Florida and didn’t think to transfer it with my license at the time. Then when I moved back to Bama, I again didn’t think to ask about putting it on my license since I don’t own a bike at the time. When I went back to add it again in December, they couldn’t find any record. Tried taking the test a couple times and couldn’t seem to pass it ( :anonymous: ) and I couldn’t be bothered to read the manual online since they won’t give you a paper copy anymore. Then I found an absolute steal of 2-for-1 courses through our local Harley dealership. It was a no-brainer since I’m still new and Lex needed to learn as well. We both got way more out of it than if we’d have stuck with teaching ourselves.

I had absolutely no idea how many habits I had developed just from riding dirt since December. Lol

Ah, so you can take the MSF in place of a written test? Truthfully, that is probably better for 99% of people.

Yup! There’s a performance test at the end and if you pass it you get a card to take to the DMV to get your endorsement. And even if for some reason you don’t pass it, you’ve almost guaranteed learned way more than you would from just the manual. They have you take a 5-hour course before you even show up to the range for lessons.
    Ooof. That suuuuucks.

I always recommend people to take the MSF course vs the DMV riding course... here in CA the DMV riding test you almost need a small 250cc sized bike to complete the circle portion of the test without going outside the lines or a bike with a DUMB tight turning radius like the super tenere. Come to think of it next time im on a ride on the weekend I wanna go past the dmv that does the in person riding test and see if I can do it on my super tenere.

I know when that was first released there was a lot of frustration with how choked up the US version is. Have they/you figured out a way to get the full ponies out of it? I think I heard somewhere ECU and airbox swap? And something like 55hp vs 75hp?

    Happy Monday amigos

hope you all got some decent riding in this weekend...I was unfortunately unable to do much as I (idiot that I am) sliced open the bottom of my foot on Thursday evening getting out of the shower. Slammed my foot into that metal lip around the edge of the tub that catches water, and it ripped open. So walking is fun.

I find it interesting I put myself out of commission more with little bullshit injuries, meanwhile I crash hard on my dirtbike or on the track and I walk away from those fine.
