Took Dex to the vet this AM on my way to work, started having mudbutt again on Friday and got worse over the weekend. Yesterday looked like there was blood in it and he was acting lethargic and moody. Had to leave the playground yesterday with Sofia early because he was growling at a few kids that wanted to pet him and he never does that.

They just called to say they think he'll be ok and doesn't need X-rays, just bring him back in if it gets any worse. Probably ate something he shouldn't have, surprise surprise

good thing we got pet insurance on this dude I swear

Biscuit had gotten some diarrhea for about 2-3 days straight and we took her to the vet as well (weeks ago).

Asked if she ate anything she wasn't supposed to and nope, not even table scraps cause you know we don't feed her people food.

They suggested changing her diet (different dog food) and all was well again, different probiotics is what helped and the change was all of a sudden; turbo mode re-activated :anonymous:

Yeah we might have to do the same, his gut is so freaking sensitive to stuff it's odd. I've been giving him boiled chicken and rice for the last few days since it started, that was what they recommended last time when he got pancreatitis from eating the damn avocados. He eats up the chicken and rice like it's his last meal on earth, which is good cause at least he still has an appetite. Part of the reason they think he's probably going to be fine, if he were refusing food and vomiting etc it would be more concerning.

For real, the fruit pouches Sofia had and still has are delicious. It's just fruit smoothie marketed for babies, any time she doesn't finish one I make sure to lol.

You mean those we got at the store near my house?

I wondered if those were good; I'd have to get some, you know...to test for Theo :anonymous:

    they are amazing

although, if you can get him to like and rely on actual fruit that's even better. Sofia being as picky as she is gets her nutrition primarily from those things lol.

Oh I definitely have to do the fruit thing for sure

Just wasn't sure what one to get to mash up; there are so many natural sugars it's like...what do I start with?

I know it's part of the whole sensory thing for them and he's great at doing that with other foods already

Think it was @Tour991 that told me Olivia doesn't like a specific baby food

I was afraid he wouldn't like Peas with Spinach, or one of the other vegetable varieties and nope, he loves them all

Solid Starts IG group is a really good resource for that kind of info, I would check that page...they're always posting daily tips on that kind of stuff

With the fruit packets we get the Pumpkin Tree/Peter Rabbit brand, it's just fruit. Shelf life isn't very good but that's usually a good sign as far as being healthier goes.

Hmm...if I can ask for enough $ I may take on making a front mount for someone's rear lower control arm on their 4R.

Sold another rear lower control arm mount kit that goes on the axle housing, but this would be a first for the frame mount.

Yeah she was not a fan of a few Gerber flavors. She has got a lot better.

She does like peanut butter on crackers. Happy she didn't have an allergy to peanut butter.

I am entertaining the thought of getting a coastal off-road rear bumper kit for the white truck. Do you think I can weld it up with my flux core Lincoln.

    Easily

Fluxcore penetrates better in general, just dirtier

And Coastal Offroad's cutouts are laser sharp so you will run into absolutely zero fitment issues or "massaging" of any sort

Or, buy it and bring it on over while you visit

We'll get it welded up and installed at my place
