Hear you hear you...what was the culprit on the vibration and pulling?

New vehicles are loaded and unloaded in boxcars like a rallycross course, so wheel damage isn't unexpected. How much is the dealer charging you?

How many miles were on the truck when you got it? Wonder if problem was caused during a previous "test" drive.

300 at a discount, for both rims and alignment, and that aint prohibitive thankfully, and i aint trying to take a principled stand. I just dont wanna pay to gloss over deeper issues with the vehicle, know what I mean?

$300 isn't enough of an incentive to upgrade to alloy wheels and buy new TPMS sensors (if you care about the TPMS)

A bent steel rim and suspension alignment being knocked out are commonly the first things to happen off-roading. Get those addressed and you're good to go beat on the truck again. :mudding:

Little update: working it out with the dealership at no charge to me but there's a hitch: 1 of 2 new rims they got in to replace the bent ones that came with the truck are also bent!!! So theyre addressing that - caught it before they put em on! What the heck right? I dont fault the dealership for that so I let corporate know, cuz two bum attempts at non bent front rims on a new truck?

So… multiple wheels are bent. Both yours and the ones the dealer sourced. That seems to point to a manufacturing defect. Steel wheels are insanely strong, I have run them for decades on various Toyota vehicles and it is stupid how much abuse they can handle.

You can always just get a set of takeoff alloy wheels that somebody in your area is selling cheap used and call it a day.

“No sign of workmanship errors” on a brand new fully stock truck with a few miles on it? That dealer is shady! What else could it be other than workmanship problems? Now that one of the replacements was also not true must make you feel great, I’d rub their noses in that so hard (once they finish wrenching on your truck).

New wheels must have hit the same potholes that your original wheels . No way you should have to pay for new rims ,talk to your sales rep or the dealership owner if possible.

We were in the clear on the cost front before the second set of bum rims became a thing - probably bc I wrnt to corporate or maybe bc of what I was able to show showing the problem existed from the getgo, but it certainly took some effort.
