Look out Land Cruiser. Can BYD's FCB Leopard 5, change it's spots?

The 250 is cool, but Toyota might be playing up the heritage angle too much.

Saw one of these 75th anniversary D90s at the dealer today, that green looks like fluorescent Lunar Rock.

That green looks crazy in sunlight, kind of like a metallic tictac.

They might be, though about the only thing that has come out of Toyota that makes me somewhat excited.

Do like that mint green Rover, reminds me of Forest Service green, paint code Fed Std 595C 34350, one of my favorite colors for a vehicle.

Yeah but it's a heritage hybrid, how long will this heritage trend last? I don't think it takes away from the LC, I'm about as excited about the 250 as I would be a 4Runner they are cool, but not really exciting for me. Now if Toyota could get a 2dr LC pick up that would be exciting. Even a 2dr LC SUV would be cool. Really need to see a 2dr pick up to get me on the edge of my seat.

They got 20 years out of the 4 Runner, I’ll probably be dead before they update the Prado again.

2D SUV certainly would be cool, sure do like the the Bronco 2D.

You might have along wait on the other 2D pickups.

2dr Brono is cool, I could drive that Ranger the way it sits. The RC looks good, looks like a proper truck still needs a real front bumper. I saw a 21 Ranger STX super cab with a fibeglass contract cap, and solid windoors that looked nice

The new LC as well as the next generation 4-Runner are intriguing. I just got a 2023 Taco, but my wife is looking at the LC/4-Runner in another year or so. We shall see where it all goes.

I love the older LC's/FJ's as well, but putting so much coin into one to have it rebuilt/gone over, I would probably be looking at a new Ineos Grenadier. :)

I hate that they’ve made the hybrid mandatory, you can’t opt out of it. I don’t know if they will make a non-hybrid version in the future, but as it stands, that’s a complete non-starter for me and my wife.

The local Lexus dealer is supposedly holding us a spot for the new Lexus 250 which has a V6 turbo without the hybrid bullshit. The Lexus styling is not as nice as the land cruiser, but not terrible compared to other modern Lexuses.

Too expensive! Lower priced gas cars think Hyundai/Kia Corolla Civic. Are what most people will be buying.

I'd still spend the $65K on a used 200 series Land Cruiser

Good luck finding one for that little. There was a 2016 at my local dealer selling for 85,000.

What is wrong with letters out? I don’t think it looks bad at all that way, and I seriously doubt the owners are taking this anywhere that is even going to come close to scrubbing the sidewalls. Oh, watch that curb! Haha! Regardless, a pretty nice looking vehicle.
