hey guys, thinking about doing a k and n intake on the truck, shes got 195,000 on her but want to pull a few ponies out of her, looking at the k&N FIPK says it addes 9 horse power, i have the box K&N filter in there now, is it hard to do putting the intake on? will it mess with any of the sensors? i made my own intake and put it on my last car and it made all my sensors fry! will k&n do that? scares me alittle. help plz

if you really want to go that route just make sure when you oil the filter do it properly(read the directions) dont soak the bastard:D. but seriously the deckplate mod is way cheaper and gives better results.

Nothing will really increase hp except for a super charger and nothings gonna improve mpg enough to be noticeable, personally I wouldnt pay for the k&n unless i got it for cheap which i did but it does sound good when i punch it ;)

MY ride came with the K&N CAI and a gibson exhaust. I get aLot of compliments on the sound.
