Details on which base version you started with? This is pretty neat, I have always hated the layout of the stock center console

Well, sad my shocks never showed up this weekend but the 4600s got me as long as I'm not hitting things hard until the foxes show up.
though they are now my limiting factor at droop. but went from that ugly block lift on the factory leaf springs, to some nice "scratched" new OME leaf springs and Timbren bump stops. I've no problems with them being scratched the paint on OME has been rough on every pair I've put into trucks for a while.

oh anyone here ever gotten OME springs they literally had the shipping labels slapped on the leafs. I now see how they got scratched up. if that is how they ship them usually I get it now. last set i put on my 90 the ends were wrapped in foam, the retainers had some cardboard around them. then a wrap in plastic. these were literally just on my porch together covered in shipping labels

This particular one is for a 2012-2013 dodge ram

    Havis C-vs-0814-ram-2

I snagged it off eBay. I removed the OEM inverter, made use of 2 of the OEM brackets for that for rear bolt in mounts. I’ll be mounting the forward section to the sides of the stock front console piece, and then mock up some filler plate templates to make it look more seamless. It’s a fair fit for being for a Ram.

Well, I think the toolbox turned out great, considering I rattle can bedlined the lid many years back, the stripper I used actually made it look almost new, as far as the diamond plate goes. After looking at it all day yesterday, I came to the conclusion that the shiny lid had to go, nothing on my truck is shiny, except the paint. So today when I got home from work, I drilled out the rivets and took the lid off and dropped it off at my powder coater.

you know its pretty firm honestly. but not in a bad way, its how I like it. though its also only had like 40miles on it since I did it. and think the ride will get better when my new shocks arrive the 4600's are from a 2020 Tacoma that I took off a friends truck when we lifted his. like 3years ago and been on my truck as a band-aid to try and keep my suspension from sagging completely for like 2 months. think a set of the extended 5100's would be a great option but for $60 more I got the Fox shocks with the reservoir and additional lift amount for droop and articulation.

but the 4600 is at the end of its extension with the 2.5 additional lift leaf springs. so they are like my limiting strap while the last few pieces of my puzzle get here.

Quick PSA to check under your headliner, my first time dropping it since owning my truck to add sound deadening and I found rust at various spots where the roof seam seal had failed. But not enough where water was pouring in yet. I've re-sealed both sides completely and repainted the roof gutters. Should stop the corrosion from getting worse.

    IMG_1083.HEIC.jpg

3M heavy bodied sealer goes a long way.

    Finished product. Painted and sealed.

Also had an annoying rattle in the dash. The clear face plate on my cluster was vibrating. A dab of hot glue on the 4 corners of the latches and it's silent!

I sold it. My commutes and travels are long, and the MPG is bad. And the 2WD snow performance was not okay. Traded it in for a 2017 Accord EX. - DARBADARBZ signing out.

MPG is a non-issue when you are retired. Snow is a non-issue where I live. Always have an extra fwd car and suv if we ever see snow. Was a nice truck but I certainly understand the commuting thing. I only commute to the grocery store, Walmart and the airport. I cannot imagine ever wanting to sell my Tacoma. I pre-planned for dimentia by adding gps and navigation so I can always find my way back home.

Put on a set of Falken wild peak at4w’s. Got tired of the duratrac’s howl. I’ll report back with how they ride, they balanced out well.

2.5" OME lift, Fox 2.5 coil overs, all pro expo leafs, ubolt flip kit w/ upgraded bump stops, 1.25" wheel spacers, 16" Bronze KMC Impact OL wheels, 295/75/r16 Nitto grapplers, beige Softopper, Brute force front bumper w/smittybilt winch, RCI rear bumper, caliraised rock sliders, TRD IFS skid plate custom swingout tailgate w/spare tire mount, TC bed stiffeners, Magnum force CAI, KC spotlights, tacomabeast headlights, rear seat molle panel odds and ends, hi lift, MESO interior lights, and a fuck load of patches… more planned for later.
Had duratracs before my grapplers and they started cupping really bad even with regular tire rotation. Least favorite tires I’ve run so far.

I’ve ran them on many different vehicles with no issues. These are in great shape, just tired of the noise. We put falkens on my wife’s 4 runner and I was amazed how quiet they are.

Mind sharing a pic of how you mounted your Plano boxes? I have one on my OEM roof rack as well. I used two unistrut channels and some Ubolts. It's pretty clean, but seems like overkill cause I don't carry much weight in that box anyway.

What did I do to my 2nd Gen today? Well, I bought it! Now Stonewall the 1st gen 5 lug has a big little brother. I'm super late, but I finally joined the 2nd gen gang. Already impressed by the turn radius and general handling, (makes Stonewall seem like a brick) and I am absolutely befuddled by the giant touch-screen radio.

    2015 Prerunner 4.0, 166k miles
    1996 5 lug 2.4l, unknown miles (but over 300k)
And no, none of the oil spots in the driveway or road belong to either of them

Got this for Christmas. Was nervous that the quality wasn’t going to be that good since I had a jbl head unit, actually sound the same if not better once you mess with the equalizer.
