I am in the process of buying a Kubota BX1880, so my John Deere x500 and my ATV need to go

@Clark27 a coworker also wants the ATV, but I have a feeling that will fall through. If it does, were you still interested?

Anyone know anyone who would want a John Deere x500 with 48" mowing deck and 44" snowblower attachments? I have it on the Facebook marketplace now for a price that I know is high since everyone always wants to haggle down. I would rather just put it up for what I want to get and not play games but no one else wants to operate that way.

Trailer was short lived lmao. Already have a flat and looks like I will need wheel bearings lol. It's wobbling bad on one side lmao.....last night also discovered the dishwasher had been leaking, thanks to YouTube it appears I've already fixed that. Went to bed later than I have been to fix it so I'm cranky as hell lol. Time for bed lol

Absolutely! Does it make your life easier to offer it to your coworker first and then if he/she passes, reach out to me? Maybe shoot a PM with the details so I know the info too? Congrats on the Kubota purchase. I have an older 7100 Kubota and love it.

That's the plan - they just put a lot aside for a big vacation, so that may cause him to pass on it. I'm going to talk to him today. I'll PM you the info in the meantime.

Honestly, it's probably overkill for me too. But I've always wanted one, got a good discount off MSRP from a local dealer, and Kubota is doing 0% so I said whatever - it's only money!

You interested in potentially splitting up the sale? Curious about the snow blower attachment - not sure if it would fit my John Deere GT235, but will do a little research on my end.

Just for shits and giggles I configured a BX1880 with all the toys I would love to have. I stopped at $50K and didn't even really look at all the "small" add ons that would probably have added another $5k to the price. Guess I should probably play the lottery.

If I can't sell it as-is, I'd consider it. The issue is, there are a lot of lifting components on the tractor itself that would have to be removed to go with the snowblower. So, it's work to figure out what goes with the tractor and what went with the attachment and pull it.

John Deere is funny about model numbers - SKU on this is SKU23045 - I think it may be x500 only anyway.

I was looking into one, I think I am going to go for an older used one instead. Motor rebuild kits arent much and little diesels like that are simple. Hoses and fittings on the other hand could add up quick

Wow! I'm at about $17k for the tractor, front end loader, and 48" mid-mount mower.

I ended up with my Kubota from my father in law for a great deal but I did play around the site and build one. I was mid 20s I think. Enclosed cab with heat for use while plowing in the winter was an expensive add on for me

Yup - the cab is big money.

Snowblower is too - lady at the dealer has a driveway similar to mine and said she just uses her BX's bucket to clear snow and it takes a little longer but works fine. I'm going to start there, but they specified the skid-steer quick attach loader so I could get a snow pusher or other skid steer attachment for reasonable money down the road if I want something else.

Absolutely want the quick attach loader. Makes changing attachments so much nicer. I have it and love using it. I have pallet forks, full size snow plow and the bucket I change between a decent amount. Only thing I wish I had was the third function valve for the bucket up front. My machine isn’t powerful enough to make the grapple hook worthwhile but the plow would be great to angle side to side. I think it’s around 800-1000 to add it on now as a DIY project.

Well, it is easy to spend money when you know that you are never going to write a check! Of course it would have to be a $100K investment as after spending $50k on the tractor I would have to have a place to store it and all the implements!

The short answer to the RAV4 is that a rodent or rodents chewed through a wire. Not covered by the extended warranty, but it's $500.00 so not worth an auto insurance claim either. I think whatever it was picked her car as opposed to my truck because she doesn't drive it every day.

Now working on rodent repellant strategies, although the service writer told me that they recommend rodent repellant packets under the hood so I might try that.
