Looks like it could use a bigger bump stick! What RPM does it start to roll over?

yeah I was tempted to throw a Brian crower desert cam in before tuning but decided to put the money towards actually making it to hammers. Also I think the curve is from like 2800 to 6200 or something but I’m not sure since he didn’t hook rpm up.

Closed out the big ass holes I made for the tubes coming out the top of the cab and installed a single piece rear window. So close to being a waterproof truck again. Got 1 more hole in the cab to close up. IMG_2678.jpg

Almost always he uses dual shield. I really enjoy learning from his videos.

Nope...blew it up with some tubes that came crashing down. But the upside was...I always wanted a 1 piece window anyways so it all worked out.

Something satisfying about filling 1” of a gap with wire feed.

Watching his channel inspires me to eventually even just get a small lathe to make spacers and small doodads.

For some stuff I’ve needed to be turned, I met a machinist a couple blocks from my place and he isn’t in a hurry usually so he’s let me check out stuff he’s working on for local amusement parks including some metal spraying. No CNC machines but all stuff he’s been using since his dad ran the place. I would like to take a vacation and help him out - if I wasn’t so busy working on my truck I probably would lol.

is there any draw back to connecting to the bed cage or at this point your just making it all super solid? Mainly curious since how the bed moves so much on regular setups.

The bed booty shake makes me grimace over all the SxS washboards :anonymous: one day my frame will just twist right off

Mine got a bit better when I did the DMZ frame boxing kit....as I said though, hopefully the cage tie into the bed will calm it even more.

Different shots from through the years. SUA kit is from Camburg. I have a few gripes about them that I have aired in the past. Cantilever kit is all from RJ Fab. Bumped and strapped at about 17in. Currently it's on 2.5x10in tripples, I'm starting to look into 3.0x10in bypasses. Also have a camburg rear end sitting in the garage waiting to go in.
Old clip from running around pismo. This was on a stock front end, and nowhere near enough valving in the rear. It's getting better now.
