@GHOST SHIP ? or someone else? I think he's busy doing work for fellow TW members...at least hopefully

Lol fair is fair, we were bound to get our dues. Should be nice and sunny by the weekend though! Debating if I wanna try to hit the mountains and board, or take the dirtbike out to the track. Guess it'll depend how long the rain persists, a muddy track doesn't sound too enticing to me lol

eh i figure he's just busy, he seems to come in waves here from what i've noticed....unless that's because I also sometimes come in waves lol.

yes pls send me some water wings. man idk how your guys roads hold up to inclement weather but hopefully much better than ours...tons of roads have huge potholes or are rutted out from shoddy previous fixes. genuinely concerned for some of these cars.

mountains are calling my name I think...dirt track is there year round, snow aint.

you in the area getting all that rain?
    who knows lol

haha you want the pink ones or the ones that look like a duck? well you see thats where you are wrong! you think our roads hold up but in reality roads suck everywhere! we have potholes all over the place because of the winter a few coworkers have bent or cracked wheels from it on their cars... ive hit one spot a week or so ago that at 70mph made my trucks rear end bounce and hop into the air scaring the shit outta me!

the mountains always call it just depends are you gonna answer it?

I'm in Santa Ana and it's been raining pretty much non-stop since I got home from Tahoe on Sunday. I haven't seen the sun for over a week. The drive home from Tahoe on Sunday was an absolute fucking nightmare.

I have no idea about that. There are a few benefits to a dry clutch, easier to adjust and change being the major ones. Mine is also hydraulic, which allows for a lot of adjustability

I’ve been away from TW for a few months now. Had some huge changes at the day job- a promotion that came with a schedule and location change means little to no time for myself. I haven’t been working on member trucks either. I still check my top 3 threads at least once every couple days though so it’s all good. Rain has been killing my town- I’m in an evacuation area, but I’m not evacuated. I live in a valley, but I’m at the top, not the bottom although our main road to get in and out of here is in the trough so it gets a lot of mud and occasionally gets closed. Still chillin- although I can’t remember the last time I rode the scooter. Womp womp.

you mean you aren't going to get me both? and here I thought we were friends...

lol it's interesting how every where across the country suffers from poor roads. though I will say CA freeways are usually in pretty good condition, barring LA. I've seen pics of IL freeways with a crack in the ground that makes a mini ramp...terrifying

Oof glad you made it home safe at least. we're in the middle of a break rn, sun is peeking out for a bit but I can see more clouds coming in

gotcha. how does it feel compared to a wet clutch? grabbier?

Not a fair comparison, every wet clutch I've ridden has been a slipper, and very good ones, and the dry have been standard, with one exception. I rode a 1098S with a slipper and while it worked, the feeling was super weird. I want to get one for my Hyper, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I will say the dry ones feel stiffer with a closer engagement point, but also the L-twin motors make torque instantly and can wheelie from a stop with very little effort with clutch disengagement

ya i have seen how your roads basically fall apart with the rain meanwhile we get heavy rain it holds together the only thing that does happen is potholes! potholes as far as the eye can see!

i think he dipped after the last time tbh

If it's truly what I hope it is.....that may happen. I will wait and see what the Aussies have to say about it. I am at least a year out.....so I have plenty of time to change my mind
