Sometimes the deal is just being able to get what you want. Especially in used vehicles these days.

I read all the comments, I just came to say I think you made a great decision. The market (especially on these) in the last 2 years has been really tough. Sometimes you don't have the time to screw around and wait for the absolute best deal, sometimes you just need a good deal. Congrats!

I think so too. I keep looking out my window like “damn that’s my truck, I own that” and that’s hard to put a price on. That’s why i didn’t try to drive him down too much lower, he didn’t really want to part ways with it but had to for a familial situation and it was fair for both of us I thought.

Thanks so much. I kind of had that same feeling while searching for a vehicle. I actually lost a truck I really liked prior to this by haggling a bit too much and it was a good lesson for me to learn. That’s why I moved so quickly on this truck and with a bit more realistic expectations.

I joined the party too late but I was going to say I think that's not a bad price at all. Congratulations on the new ride.

That is awesome. I was about to reply with my thoughts when I saw you had bought it and was happy. Having the service records is golden. I bought my 2013 in October and felt inclined to do some maintenance things that might not have been necessary if it had good maintenance records. So that saves you some dollars I am sure. Congratulations.

I would recommend being more patient. And broaden your search area... for a lower mileage 2nd gen
