    Hey, new to the forum.
I've had my 2022 4x4 taco for about a year now and the thing keeps going out of alignment. I've got a 75 pound Ranch-Hand deer-guard on the front, but no lift and stock tires. I've had to have 3 alignments in the time that I've owned it and every time I go in it's super out of spec. I'm not hitting big bumps going fast or anything that you would think would cause a misalignment, and my old ram only needed one alignment in the 8 years that I owned it, So I know something's wacky here. I'm hoping one of you can give me some things to check for because I REALLY don't want to send it into a shop for diagnostic work.
Hope you guys can help, Thanks!

Loose eccentrics, some techs just impact them and its not enough.

On rough road vehicles like yours I always tell them to tighten until your face goes red.

That said a front end check for a ball joint issue wouldn't hurt. I've changed them on fairly young vehicles.

Cam tabs, eccentrics, those would be easy to diagnose. Your truck is fairly new and if you don’t abuse it, that’s a solid good question.

Find a new alignment shop. Take a look at your alignment cams and tabs yourself. Are they damaged, deformed or missing?

Checked the cam tabs, they're not bent, but I am now interested in getting either locking cam bolts or cam tab gussets for the future, Thanks. Pretty sure my passenger tie rod is bent, after talking to my mechanic friend about it, he checked under there for me and told me to get it inspected, as he thinks the passenger side feels kind of screwy. I neglected to mention that the last time my alignment went out camber and caster were fine, but toe was a cumulative -0.58 off. Willl let you guys know but so far tie rods seem to be it. I'm gonna start looking online to find some beefier tie-rods than the OEM ones if anybody has any good suggestions. Thanks for all the feedback!

After alignment check the torque on the cam bolts. Same thing was happening to me so now I check them every time I get it aligned. They were always under torqued.

If you’re down there replacing inner/outer tie rods may as well do the lower ball joints while your there.

I recently replaced my inner and outer tie rods with moog. Also did the marlin crawler HD lca frame brace. No more alignment issues.
I've heard people mention that the tie rods shouldn't be beefier so that they are the weakest point.

100% Agree with this. I torqued to spec, hit a bump and the cam bolt just pushed over the alignment tab. After I tightened them till red in the face I haven’t had an issue with alignment since.

If this helps, from the 2016+ service manual, Suspension page 1; torque value for front lower control bolt is 134 lbf.ft, for toque value of the rear is 138 lbf.ft

Yeah at this point I think I'm just gonna replace the majority of the front end suspension over time. my plan is to start with cam bolt gussets, move up to both uca and lca, then move on to tie rods and shocks. I know it'll be stupid expensive, but if it keeps me from losing peace of mind in the future I'm game.

your alignment is as good as the cam tabs. Which in stock form are too weak.

I just did this too... do it all at once to save a ton of time and labor and only pay for 1 alignment instead of having to do it multiple times.
