Hey all. I’m a huge Toyota fan. I have owned them all my life. But this is my very first truck and I absolutely love everything about this truck except for the gas mileage. I’m blow away at the difference I feel when driving this compared to my 2016 Scion Tc that was totaled by someone else last year. Being able to glide over curbs and driveways that my Scion would have scraped or bottomed out on is such an amazing feeling.

There are so many perks that come with owning this truck. I’m finding them slowly the more I drive it. It took a while to get used to parking it. But the cameras are outstanding and they have allowed me to perfect this.

I bought mine completely loaded with the leather package and upgraded sound system. I figured if I am gonna buy a new Toyota I’m going to drive it in style and comfort.

I sometimes miss being able to zip around in a car but it’s a fleeting moment and I get over that quickly.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I didn’t buy this truck to actually off-road with it. I bought it because I love Toyotas and it’s such a beautiful
work of art. I also bought it because the dealership I have bought my most recent 3 Toyotas from did not have much else that caught my eye. I could have left with a Corolla hybrid. But the universe decided otherwise. But I’m very pleased with the huge difference and I expect nothing less than perfection from this Toyota.

Thanks for having this forum for all of us. It’s awesome.

Welcome. I had the same thoughts. Was driving a Subaru Forester for 8 years but really missed driving a pickup. So here I am driving a Tacoma.

Congratulations on your truck. We both will have many happy years in front of us.

Most here really love their trucks, myself included.

    Nope.
You can edit your original post and use the "Upload a File" button to upload a pic or two of your truck and attach them to the post.

Welcome! These trucks are not perfect but if you take care of it it will take care of you. You should take your truck off road and explore. This is where they shine IMO.

If your a noob with Tacoma's lots of info here.
