You have to be at the store on the day and time of truck delivery to get these in Florida. Ridiculous.

 

Been looking at home in Central Tejas….non existent.

 

Seems like every state except Texas and Florida have them on the shelf. Found a bottle of Eagle Rare here that was marked up to $180.

 

The last time I was in Florida (Jacksonville), BT was on the shelf in about half the stores I was in, for $30.

They’re not available on the shelf in NC and VA, two ABC control states.

I’ve tried the chains twin liquors, total wine, specs…..I’ve tried going to smaller shops willing to shell out a little more, no go.

 

specs is where i find them, but in small rural spec towns.

you wont find it in Austin area.

 

Out in San Diego for the week and while walking around Gas Lamp (finally a night with no rain!) I walked into this nice corner liquor store. Small footprint, but they had an amazing selection of tequila. Found their bourbon and laughed when I saw the prices for some of these bottles I didn’t ask the guy, didn’t want to come off in the wrong way, but do they really sell bottles at this price!

 

Planning another trip to KY in April. Didn't get to Bardstown last visit, so making that a priority for this one. For you guys who have been (to Bardstown specifically), any rec's for must dos? Heaven Hill is the only stop currently planned, trying to figure out the rest. I'll only have two days there.
