I have a noise on the front end that i need some help chasing down, suspected front cab mounts at first which was not it. Had some help rocking the truck and you can hear the noise, its passenger side sounds like its coming from the coil/shock. Truck has 26k, all stock front end minus 5100's set at .65, shocks have been on maybe 7-8k.

My bet is strut bushings and washers were put in the right order, the strut stud is riding against metal now after it wore through.

This where a good mechanics stethoscope comes in handy.

Have this same sound on my 07 tacoma. Dealership said entire front end shocks, struts, etc need to be replaced, but they only have 55k on them. Curious to see what your outcome is..

I am thinking maybe loose lca bolts, i popped off the sway bar end link after work to see if that could have been the issue and it was not. I will drop the skid in a few days and crank down on the bolts

Just had to get my LCAs replaced last week and sound was there before and after the LCA swap. Hoping your issue is just a loose bolt and nothing more

The lower spring perch was about a thumbs width rotated leaving a gap where the end of the spring sits in perch, i am not sure how it rotated. I could have sworn the spring was seated right against it and the top of the spring was in the groove in the top mount when i put in the 5100s. The noise was the spring, i went ahead and pulled both sides out since i had them set to .65 i was thinking about putting them to 1.1 so now was the time. Noise is gone, i am going to drive it a few days make sure there is no further issues before taking it for an alignment.
