Same here, blue out and pink in on mine (looking back at photos).

The color they use are also different amongst the sizes, not sure to what extent but my Jeep 31x10.5R15LT were orange, pink, and yellow, while my Jeep 30x9.5R15LTs were green, tan and white. Not that any of that matters for this purpose, just found it interesting. Looks like the 265/70R17 E posted above don't have stripes (tires still new), and then the 235s above look to have lines but they're faded enough that I can't tell what color they were.

My Jeep 30x9.5 also had "ROCK" written on the OWL side. No idea why. I ran the OWL in, black out. Those tires are very mild sidewalls on both sides. The letters stand out on both sides.

I looked and they are the same on both sides.

Just replaced my KO2’s with Toyo AT3’s. They look great in person. I was worried they weren’t going to be as aggressive looking as the KO2 but super happy with the look. I haven't noticed them to be any louder and they ride fantastic. Much easier to balance as well.

On the AT2 they were called the “Extreme” version. Basically the AT E rated had more pronounced scalloping and deeper tread blocks than the more tame SL and XL versions. I have them on my Super Duty. Not sure how this computes to the AT3’s but prolly the same. As far as a C rated tire I don’t know if they do that either

It’s been about 3 days now since I swapped out my 35x1250 MT to C load AT. I’m very happy with the road behaviors. Acceleration is quicker for sure, super quiet, bouncy in a way. It’s a tad smaller in width from my MT, but over all very satisfied, and my wife runs the wildpeaks on her 4Runner.

They are fun tires! 265/75/R16 on SR AC 4x4 with stock OR wheels. Dug through the snow with no problem.

Can anyone verify that the 265/75/16 e load has the aggressive side wall?

If you search through this thread specifically for 265/75 you should be able to find a few LTs, as I’m pretty sure I did at one point. I think I recall they were not aggressive.

Again man, it is not a hard fast rule that LT looks aggressive. IF they are aggressive, they are LT. But not all of the LTs are aggressive.

I found the post I referenced in the past. Post 983. LT265/75R16, not aggressive. Still looks good though.

For whatever reason, I have yet to see anything with a 16” wheel have the aggressive sidwall, LT or not. Toyo may have decided to not give aggressive sidewalls to all 16’s for whatever reason.

I don't drive through snow or anything that technical, so the aggressive sidewall really isn't needed. It does look pretty cool though.

Ok, Thought Id get these images of Toyo Open Countries in the right thread.
    These are size SL 265 70 R16.
Compared to the stock Goodyear's, these are just a little bit smaller in diameter, but we are talking millimeters. Tread appears a bit wider too.
The local shop that installed them did a great job of being careful not to scratch the rims. I had to wait 3 months for a replacement rim that was scuffed pretty good from the dealership when they rotated the tires during my first maintenance service.

Overall very happy with these as they ride very smooth and quiet.

I've always run with Falken AT3Ws.. love'em! But they don't make them in 305/70/17... looking into the Toyos and I'm very impressed... it's down to the Open Country v Mickey Thompson Baja (in 295/70/17).

That looks great. Toyo really makes a great tire. They weren’t even in my considerations at all up until I saw this thread, and now I’ve bought 4 sets.

I don’t know why but I guess for purist’s sake, I keep getting tempted to grab a set of stock OR wheels and put on the same stock size Toyos you got. Currently running the 20+ sport wheels which I also really like and have the 255/75 Toyos on them. I really like that setup as well but I dunno, kind of want to go back to full stock on that for some reason.

I’d go Toyo and I doubt you will regret it. There is just something to appreciate about how dang smooth they are. I have had numerous traumas with balancing issues across different vehicles with Falken, KO2s, General Grabber ATX, and Duratracs. Not a single issue on any of the Toyos. I understand the complaints about the aggressive and non aggressive sidewalls, but the smooth balancing pretty much wins it out for me entirely.

I hadn't even thought of Toyos either until the tire shop technician mention them as an option. Then I found this thread and I saw another Tacoma offroad in the parking lot with a set of these on and I had to investigate. Apparently they are quite good in the rain. that's going to matter as I live in the PNW. The stock Goodyear's spun out all the time at full tread with hardly any acceleration.
And yeah, they look good in photos, but even better in person.
