Thats going to depend on factors such as upgraded CV's, Tie rods etc.

Cycle and strap before any binding. Keep in mind the straps will stretch over time

    Thank you guys

Brake lines and abs lines are plenty long, so would leaving 1/2" of shock shaft left including about 1" of stretch on the strap sound about right?

I set mine .3 inches short of where they need to to account for stretch.
Go until cv binds and back off accordingly for every 12inches of strap is about 1 inch of stretch. So if its a 6inch strap .5 stretch etc.

Thanks Brian, I literally installed my first CV axles yesterday haha , so I'm trying to get caught up on the other things I haven't had to worry about before.

This kit install was pretty straight forward and I didn't have any problems with bushings or washers. I think the only thing that has me stopped was figuring out what bolts and nut goes where haha

Watch for tie rod binding as well but usually the CV is the first thing.

Just ordered this kit yesterday afternoon and already have a fedex shipping notification:thumbsup:

I'll be honest I was a bit hesitant and a Im a little embarrassed(I've had a TC 3.5 kit on my Tacoma since 2009 kit is now on my 4th gen t4r lol) on the purchase but decided to give this "budget minded" kit the benefit of the doubt. Time will tell how this kit hold up *fingers crossed*

Purchased wed, delivered this morning, unboxing first impressions were great. Welds and materials look good and stout. Have to say this is a great value overall. Waiting on hubs/wheel bearings, braklines and axles to be delivered before the install.

It will bolt up, but you're going to be limiting your travel. bolt in EXT travel shock vs an 8" coilover

Also for anyone running this depo kit notice the bumpstop spacer on the allprokit in the pic above.

You're going to need this to limit the uptravel of this kit. If you're running standard 8" shocks the limiting factor on this kit is not the shock, it's the upper arms uniball cup in relation to the spindle. Ideally at full bump you're going to want to leave 1/4" gap between the cup and spindle. Without any sort of bumpstop extension you risk blowing through that travel and putting some serious strain or breaking the 9/16" uca uniball / spindle bolt.

I mocked up the depo kit today with total chaos LT spec kings and have it bumped and strapped pulling 11.25" of travel.

@ Full droop I have it strapped with 7" of shock shaft showing and at full bump 1.75" of shaft.

Few other things to note, use 9/16 bolts for the LCA limit strap hardware not the included 1/2" hardware. It's also worth replacing the UCA ,LCA 9/16 and 5/8 hardware with some grade 8 12pt hardware. The included socket cap screws dont really give me the fiz, no bolt markings on the head indicating the grade etc. 80 bucks of bolts for piece of mind is worth ever penny imo.

The LCA washers included in the kit all have .750 holes you need 4 washers with the .750 hole for the 2 front lca mounts, and washers with a 9/16 hole for the rears. In total you're going to need twelve of the 2.25" od x 3/16 thick washers with 9/16 hole and four of the 2.25" od x 3/16" thick washers with a .750 hole.

    Pictures to follow..

picked up new grade 8 and 8.2 9/16" and 5/8" hardware to replace the included socket cap screws, i'll throw the originals in the trail bag as spares.

depo kit @ Full bump maxed out clearance between spindle and uniball cup. 1.75" of shock shaft showing at full bump.

Rear LCA mount washers with .750 hole , replace these with the same washers that the upper control arm uses. 2 1/4"od x 3/16 thick w/ 9/16 hole. You can source these from allpro, dirtking etc.

I have ( but havent installed ) the allpro kit and it didnt come with bump stop spacers. How tall of a spacer do I need? How much preload on the Kings?

Honestly couldnt say, I will be running air bumps so my measurements will be one off and based off where I want the kit and bump to fully bottom out.

Also that bumpstop spacer he has on there is that specific length because that person is running a bolt in oem ext travel shock. You definitely want to cycle your kit with the coilover installed with no spring to really make sure your kit and coilovers are safe where your bump stop and limit straps are.

    Check these out. https://www.perryparts.com/product-page/long-travel-specific-bump-stops

I did read somewhere on allpros site that the timbrens pair with their LT kit so you are probly good with those. I have wheeler's superbumps right now and they're not long enough for my application. I could stack some of their UHWM spacers to get it to work but air bumps are a better option for me.

Timbres are surprisingly small for $250
