The ducks... the cringiest of any vehicle fanboy behaviors. I literally make a point to NOT park next to other jeeps and the ducks still find me.

You actually have to be creative and careful to lift most vehicles because bigger tires just don’t fit, with the Jeeps you just keep putting bigger tires and lifts on it until the power steering gives up and you completely mess up the gear ratios.

Maybe we will see the numbers get released on the Pro and TH finally. I mean why release a super bowl add, drum up interest, and then not have any pricing out there on it..... Oh yeah, Toyota, that's why!!

You're right, Jeep did indeed make a very capable, easily upgradeable offroad platform.

You put 35s on then and some mods they look great
And that engine has been around forever I don't see them being that unreliable

AEV, which to me has always seen sort of a half assed company that has lately become legitimized by Jeep and GM has always built ridiculously overpriced pick up/DK jeeps for up to $150,000 so I assume that when Jeep copied the design from them it would be a massive success.

Looks like a few Brutes that are still running around are worth a lot of money, even though the average person can’t tell them from a Gladiator, and the Gladiators aren’t doing that well.

Yeah they surpassed 10 million of those engines made in 2019. They're not without faults but you can hardly call it unreliable. Besides that, I do think the Wrangler/Gladiator platform has avoided most of the FCA/Stellantis issues, mainly due to most of that chassis continuing the same design aspects from the earlier Jeeps.

Also, just want to say I'm fully aware my Jeep bias is showing haha. I do love me some Wrangler in my life. That being said there is a reason I'm on this forum, and it does involve lifestyle choices ;)

I help out with a 4x4 rescue page my buddy created and it would be a lot cheaper to mod the jeep with a winch then a taco

Yup. Here is the list of cars with window VIN etching that would have otherwise been stolen:

How long before somebody abandons one on some protected mountain pass. I don't care for the goof influencer actor portrayals.

Remember the blind melon Tundra Pro commercial? There's an Xfinity one where Dad is trapped in the 90's and tells the kids they were conceived to that song.

Yeah, my local dealer just got the SR5 I drove yesterday. That’s the only taco they have gotten so far. The lot is full of Tundra’s Sequoia TRDPRO’s

When do we speculate there will be standing inventory of Tacomas on dealer lots? 3 months? 6 months? Hopefully not a year. Not including Pro's or TH's.

I see a fair amount of 3G Tundras on the road lots of upper trims and TRD, but I do see a lot base trim trucks on steel wheels. I think that's what the majority of Tundra buyers are looking for a reliable work truck. The fancy ones are nice but they aren't selling. The domestic lots look the same way. The work trucks usually disappear from inventory before the luxury trims.

No they are buying fords , contractors want comfort . You're describing fleet vehicles and Toyota doesn't do much fleet selling

I see a good amount of 2G and 3G Tundras on the road being used as work trucks. Ford does sell a lot of work trucks, couldn't count on a daily basis how many XL pickups I see on the road a day. Must have been last month I saw a 23 Oxford White F-150 XL black bumpers super cab 8' bed 4x4 with the 18" silver alloys. Looked pretty good.

I work with contractors and obviously it's different everywhere. My contractors are not buying base trucks with no options , they are buy comfort and work vans for their guys
