Just ask for the inserts, they’re like $17 at the dealership for the pair unless you’ve thrown away your oem blade housing.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. I have the Fox 2.0's up front (1.5") and rear is stock height. I wonder if they would rub with that amount of lift?

    Bone stock. For now.
Thank you! Not a bit so far. I played around in the woods a little and didn’t hear/feel anything. FWIW I pulled my little utility trailer to the dump and didn’t feel a difference there either.

Agree that luminosity would be better - but I liked the ease of putting the covers on after messing up the vinyl so badly

I don't mean those, I mean where the tailgate hinge is. It looks like it might be a 12 outlet of some sort. Unless thats the tailgate tension adjustment for the soft open? Guess I never noticed it before.

If I'm honest, I've been thinking about taking things even a step further.........
And wrapping the rear end of the truck in red from the red stripe at the back and continuing through the rear of the quarter panels, as well as the tailgate, ala Ivan Stuart style......

Awe Yeah! The "Ironman" was amazing to watch race. Dig the TRD stripes as well. Wanted to do the same to my 4Runner but ended up selling it. Prob more fitting on the Tacoma.

I used to run my own side business of cutting and applying vinyl on models and vehicles (did a "crest" for my wife and I on our off road trailer, a cowl stripe on my previous JKRU as well as the current Heritage stripes on my Taco) and was thinking about just doing it all myself in Oramask 851. Its great stuff, and lasts and lasts, including through power washing, hard core off roading and just general wear and tear, but its not as good as the wrap material that the pros use when it comes to complex/compound curves, so I'm heading out today to get a quote to wrap those sections from 3 of the major wrap shops here locally. I think I'm going to debadge the rear tailgate and remove the tailgate latch and surround myself to hopefully save the wrap shop a bit of time, and hopefully a couple bucks if possible.

Ill definitely upload pics once its done!
