Spot weld cutter

    President McKinley w/KLM 203P and threw the roof antenna, ICON RXT leaf spring packs (position 2), Bilsteen 5100s, ARE Camper Shell, Pop & Lock tail gate, Dash Cam
    Anyone know what size diameter is best for cutting spot welds on our trucks? I'm 3/8s but not sure.

    I made an honest effort and looked.
    Toyota just says to drill them out. No size given.
    I guess, go small and work your way up.

    That's what I read...but with the new self centering purpose built bits I figured I'd have to ask!

    35s, flatbed, rhino liner paint, SOS front bumper, JD Fab lca pivot, JD Fab inner fenders and some other stuff.
    I used a 3/8 on mine. They work awesome.

    this is the best for cutting spot welds in my personal experience.

    I've had better luck just sanding down the welds than cutting them with Spot Weld cutter above. This Harbor Freight sander worked great and I could just take little nibbles out of the weld without harming the material below it.
