Wait you just claimed every Tacoma needs a re-gear as the first thing done yet yours isn’t even re-geared yet you put 35’s on it??

Maybe because he hasn’t even followed his own advice and isn’t even re-geared.

    Damn bro literally no cap?

He just said first thing it needs is a regear and yet hes on 35’s with no regear.

I bet he has a slew of other mods as well after claiming it’s the first thing that needs to be done. Lmfao

For real no cap. To each their own. Some folks like to upgrade, some like to downgrade apparently

Take out the install instructions and maybe read them. You can read right? I found it in like 5 seconds.

They put a non replaceable TOB sleeve, among other things. Doesn’t really get more low IQ than that. Then kept doing it without a revision that “less reliable” automakers do.
I’m sure old Taco frames are the best thing ever made too, among other features.

poor gear ratio choice is implemented for one reason and one reason only. Emissions and fleet economy. On a stock new vehicle. Same as plastic bumper air dams.

yep. It has 35’s. Has needed a regear. Does need a regear. Will get a regear. So did it with 33’s. Even more so with added weight like armor.

Got a good offer on my old 33’s. Got 35’s for a good deal. Took time to find spare donor diffs and acquire parts from RevolutionGear which was out of stock.

    pretty common.

A non replaceable throw out bearing sleeve?

Are you saying you can’t replace the throw out bearing and sleeve on a tacoma?

They do NOT have low down power.
They have 5 or 6 gears.
Gears 5 - 6 put the truck in the too low of an RPM range with 31" tires. Throw 36" on there and you might as well leave the truck in 4th gear on the highway.

Just because I own a 2nd Gen doesn't make it "better" nor make it have magical "power" that it doesn't have....
It's a DOG......All the Tacomas have been thus far. We shall see what Gen 4 brings.

what do you mean it doesn’t have power
It’s rated the same power as a 20yo $1000 sedan
    It’s basically a Ram TRX

It basically gets more power as the tire size goes up
